Mark Cline

NATURAL BRIDGE, VIRGINIA

Mark Cline is an American artist and entertainer. Inspired by monster and science fiction films, he produces foam and fiberglass figures and fantasy characters for attractions and cities. One of his most notable creations is Foamhenge, a full-size replica of Stonehenge made entirely out of styrofoam in Natural Bridge, Virginia. He has also built hundreds of dinosaur statues, including 30 for his own Dinosaur Kingdom II and 19 for Dinosaur Land in White Post, Virginia, the park which inspired him to sculpt. Mark’s artwork appears all across the country, but he lives and works in Natural Bridge. His studio appears in the book Weird Virginia as well as the Roadside America collections. In addition, Mark is the subject of upcoming documentary film, Blue Ridge Barnum.
